Position:
Formwork Project Engineer
Oldham
Oldham based Project Engineer with experience in Formwork / Temporary Works Design to manage and deliver high-quality temporary works designs and solutions for infrastructure projects.
Lead and manage temporary works design, predominantly for formwork and falsework structures
Carry out and verify structural calculations
Produce and review detailed drawings
Work collaboratively with customer site teams, designers and subcontractors to implement safe and efficient temporary works.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers internally
Extensive experience in temporary works design, especially formwork and falsework.
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Ability to carry out structural calculations and produce clear, detailed drawings.
Strong understanding of construction methodology and safety regulations (e.g., BS5975).
Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE or IStructE) preferred
